Postpartum Recovery Support — Spring, TX

When you’re cleared to add wellness support back in — lymphatic compression for fluid recovery, red light for tissue support, and sauna for circulation. Always after your physician’s clearance.

What’s going on

The postpartum period involves significant fluid shifts, tissue recovery, hormonal recalibration, and sleep disruption. Wellness modalities can support some of the recovery inputs — but timing and clearance matter, and several modalities are contraindicated in the early postpartum window.

We work with members who’ve been cleared by their OB or midwife. Lymphatic compression for fluid mobilization, red light for tissue recovery, and gradual sauna re-introduction are common starting points.

Common signs people describe

  • 6+ weeks postpartum, cleared by physician
  • Fluid retention from pregnancy
  • Postpartum hair shedding (separate page)
  • Tissue and core recovery support
  • Sleep disruption and fatigue
  • Want to gently re-introduce wellness routine

How we support postpartum recovery at Elevate BioWellness

A postpartum-cleared stack — always after OB/midwife clearance.

Lymphatic Compression Therapy
Pneumatic compression supports fluid mobilization in the postpartum period — confirm clearance with your physician first.

Red Light Therapy
Photobiomodulation for soft-tissue recovery.

Infrared Sauna (gradual)
Re-introduced gradually after physician clearance and once breastfeeding hydration is well-established.

Important: Postpartum care requires medical follow-up with an OB or midwife. Many wellness modalities have specific postpartum and breastfeeding considerations. Do not begin any wellness regimen postpartum without explicit clearance from your healthcare provider. Postpartum depression, anxiety, and other conditions require medical and mental-health care — not wellness support.

What the research says

Peer-reviewed studies on the modalities used in this protocol. We share these for educational context, not as claims that any therapy will produce a specific result for you.

Intermittent pneumatic compression for lymphedema and post-exercise recovery
Pneumatic compression devices have shown benefit in reducing limb volume in lymphedema and may aid post-exercise recovery via venous return.
