Sun-Damaged Skin Support — Spring, TX

Years of sun catch up. Uneven tone, sunspots, texture irregularities, fine-line acceleration. Red light therapy and esthetician-led peels and facials are the wellness side of recovery — not the medical side.

What’s going on

Sun damage causes long-term photoaging — pigment changes, collagen breakdown, vascular changes, and texture irregularities. Treatment exists across a spectrum from medical (lasers, prescription retinoids, dermatologist-managed protocols) to wellness (red light, gentler peels, supportive facials).

For visible sunspots, melasma, or precancerous lesions, see a dermatologist. For general sun-damaged skin support — texture, tone, glow — our esthetician-led facials and red light therapy are what most wellness members start with.

Common signs people describe

  • Years of sun showing up as uneven tone
  • Visible sunspots or hyperpigmentation
  • Fine lines accelerated from sun exposure
  • Texture irregularities — bumps, roughness
  • Lost the firmness sun damage tends to take
  • Want gentler approach before considering laser

How we support sun-damaged skin at Elevate BioWellness

An esthetician-led + red light wellness approach.

Red Light Therapy
Photobiomodulation has been studied for collagen and skin density support.

Glow Peel Facial / Dermaplaning
Esthetician-led exfoliation for tone and texture.

Infrared Sauna
Circulation support; complementary to skin protocols.

Important: Persistent or changing pigmented lesions, especially with size, color, or border changes, require dermatologic evaluation — not wellness facials. Skin cancer and precancerous lesions are medical conditions. These wellness modalities are not a treatment for sun damage in the medical sense.

What the research says

Peer-reviewed studies on the modalities used in this protocol. We share these for educational context, not as claims that any therapy will produce a specific result for you.

Low-level laser (light) therapy for skin rejuvenation and collagen density
Split-face controlled study of 136 volunteers found that red and near-infrared light increased collagen density and improved skin complexion and feeling.

Frequently asked questions

Will this fade my sunspots?

We don’t make that claim. Visible pigment changes typically need targeted dermatologic treatment. These modalities are for broader skin health support.

Is this safe in the summer?

Yes — but post-treatment sun protection is critical, especially after exfoliating facials.

What about lasers?

We don’t offer medical laser treatments. Many members combine our wellness protocols with their dermatologist’s laser plan.

Frequency?

Red light 3-5x per week; facials every 3-4 weeks for ongoing support.

Best to start before vacation?

Yes — many of our pre-vacation glow members start their protocol 4-6 weeks before travel.
