Post-Surgery Recovery Support — Spring, TX

Once your surgeon has cleared you for adjunctive recovery work, hyperbaric oxygen, red light, and lymphatic compression have published research bases relevant to surgical and tissue healing. We work alongside your medical team — not instead of them.

What’s going on

Post-surgical recovery has well-established medical and physical therapy components. Adjunctive wellness modalities — hyperbaric oxygen for tissue oxygenation, red light for soft-tissue recovery, lymphatic compression for swelling and fluid mobilization — have research bases that have led many members to add them to their recovery plan once cleared by their surgeon.

Hyperbaric oxygen in particular is established as adjunctive therapy in select medical indications. We offer it at wellness intensity. Always with surgeon clearance, never as a replacement for medical care.

Common signs people describe

  • Recently post-surgical with surgeon clearance
  • Swelling, bruising, or stiffness during recovery
  • Want to support tissue and circulation recovery
  • Have a follow-up timeline you want to optimize for
  • Want adjunct to PT and surgical follow-up
  • Family member or loved one recovering

How we support post-surgery recovery at Elevate BioWellness

A post-surgical wellness stack — coordinated with your medical team.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber
Medical-grade hyperbaric oxygen has established adjunctive use in select surgical indications. Our wellness HBOT is a different service — research on its adjunctive use is more limited; we offer it for general post-surgical wellness support after surgeon clearance.

Red Light Therapy
Photobiomodulation has been studied for wound and post-procedural recovery.

Lymphatic Compression Therapy
Pneumatic compression supports post-surgical swelling and venous return.

Important: Post-surgical care must be directed by your surgeon. Wellness modalities should only be added after explicit surgical clearance, with appropriate timing for your specific procedure. Medical-grade hyperbaric oxygen for specific surgical indications is a different service from wellness HBOT — discuss your specific case with your surgeon. We do not replace surgical follow-up, physical therapy, or medical care.

What the research says

Peer-reviewed studies on the modalities used in this protocol. We share these for educational context, not as claims that any therapy will produce a specific result for you.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy in wound healing
HBOT increases tissue oxygen tension and is used as adjunctive therapy for non-healing wounds and post-surgical recovery in select indications.

Photobiomodulation in wound and surgical recovery
Reviews of photobiomodulation report accelerated wound closure and reduced post-procedural inflammation in select clinical studies.
Mosca et al, Lasers Med Sci, 2019 · PubMed

Intermittent pneumatic compression for lymphedema and post-exercise recovery
Pneumatic compression devices have shown benefit in reducing limb volume in lymphedema and may aid post-exercise recovery via venous return.
Cleary, Vasc Med, 2014 · PubMed

Studies referenced describe general effects observed in published research and are not guarantees of individual outcomes. Always consult your physician.

Frequently asked questions

When can I start?

Always after explicit surgeon clearance. Different surgeries have different timelines — some 2 weeks, some longer.

Does insurance cover this?

Wellness HBOT is not insurance-covered. Medical-grade HBOT for select surgical indications may be — that’s a different service.

Will hyperbaric speed my healing?

We don’t make that claim. The research describes oxygenation support; individual outcomes vary by procedure and member.

How often?

Many post-surgical members come 3-5x per week early in clearance, tapering to 1-2x per week as recovery progresses.

Coordinate with my PT?

Yes — many members do PT and our modalities on alternating days. Discuss with both providers.

Ready to feel better?

Once cleared, give your recovery the right inputs. Free consultation to coordinate with your team.
